Cyber-Rights.Org is a non profit organization established to protect the interests of all honest, law-abiding Internet users with the aim of promoting free speech and privacy on the Internet. It was founded in 1997 and has been actively involved with the Internet policy-making process at the UK, the European Union, Council of Europe, OECD, the United Nations, and OSCE levels. The organisation launched the Cyber-Rights.Net project in association with Hushmail in November 2000. Since 2007, Cyber-Rights.Org has a Turkey branch (Cyber-Rights.Org.Tr) and follows closely policy developments in Turkey with particular reference to Internet censorship, and surveillance.

The OpenPGP Alliance is a growing group of companies and other organizations that are implementers of the OpenPGP standard. The Alliance works to facilitate technical interoperability and marketing synergy between OpenPGP implementations.
