Our history
Hush Communications was founded in 1998, and in May 1999 we launched Hushmail, the world’s premier end-to-end encrypted free email service.
Our services have since evolved to include secure web forms, instant messaging, and powerful branded solutions for businesses, all compliant with the OpenPGP standard. Our customers include banks, law firms, medical practitioners, and privacy-minded individuals around the world.
We believe communication should be kept private, and we offer a way for individuals and businesses to do this easily and affordably. We are continuously working to keep our service comparable with less secure alternatives, while maintaining the high level of security our customers demand.
