We’re introducing a new feature today that we think will be useful for many of our Hushmail Business customers. Catch-all email allows you to choose one of your accounts to receive all email sent to email addresses that don’t exist on your domain.

For example, if your catch-all account is timmy@example.com, that’s where you’ll receive any email sent to accounts that haven’t been created, like tim@example.com or timothy@example.com.

You can use this feature to avoid losing emails when people misspell your name, or to easily accept all emails sent to common email addresses (sales@example.com, info@example.com, support@example.com, etc.) without creating or paying for those accounts.

To use catch-all email, sign in to Hushtools with your administrator account and click on View/change domain information, then Configure Domain. Enter the email address you would like to use as your catch-all account:

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our Hushmail Business customer support team.

We’re often asked to have Hushmail display the last IP address that was used to access an account, so that people know if an unauthorized party has gained access to their passphrase. Today we’re launching a new feature that displays information about your recent Hushmail and Hushmail Mobile login history. We display the date and time of your previous 10 logins, your IP address and the location we think you signed in from. You can use this information to help detect unauthorized access to your account.

To access your recent login history, click the “Recent logins” link below your message list.

If you have any questions or feedback please feel free to get in touch with our customer support team.

If you would like this feature added to your Hushmail Business domain, please let us know.
