A new version of Hush Secure Forms

January 8, 2009 by Hushmail.com in What's New?

Today we are releasing a new version of Hush Secure Forms, and announcing free secure contact forms for anyone with a Hushmail account (see a sample or create your own).

With Hush Secure Forms, you can set up a secure order form, a private tip line, or a page for friends and family to send you confidential documents.  When a visitor fills out your form, the information entered (and the files uploaded) are encrypted and delivered to your Hushmail Inbox.

You can set up a secure web form on your own website, or host a free secure contact form on ours.

Using Hush Secure Forms on your own website

Our Hush Secure Forms service can be used to secure any number of forms on your website (subscription required).  Integration is easy – simply modify one line of HTML code to submit your form to your secure web address.  Get started.

Free secure contact forms

Our new (and free) secure contact forms give everyone with a Hushmail account a way to receive private information from anyone with a web browser. You choose your web address (for example, https://forms.hush.com/timmy), and we’ll host the form. See a sample or create your own free secure contact form

Christmas holiday hours

December 23, 2008 by Brian in Customer Support

The Hush Communications office will be closed December 25th, December 26th, and January 1st. During that time, customer support will be available only to Hushmail Business customers with extended support packages. All other customer support requests will be answered promptly when office hours resume.

Dennis Bournique from WAPReview published a review of Hushmail Mobile today.  He points out some of the security weaknesses in regular email, and goes on to explain the benefits of encryption and specifically, our web-based secure email solution.  From the article:

WAPReview.com logoThe mobile Hushmail interface is clean and lean and loads rapidly in even the most basic mobile browsers. It’s fairly full-featured too with mass tag and delete and the ability to move individual emails to folders, although you can’t create new folders with the mobile version.

Hushmail and it’s mobile version are a great way to do secure email with a minimum of inconvenience.
