Hushmail users with an IMAP Access subscription can now send and receive email securely using programs like Outlook, Netscape or Mail for OS X. They can also use the Hushmail for Outlook plug-in.

Once IMAP Access is enabled, you'll find account information for your desktop email program in the "Preferences" section of your Hushmail account.

Hushmail for Outlook allows Hushmail users to generate and verify digital signatures, and send/receive encrypted email from their desktop using Outlook.

Hushmail for Outlook is currently free to download and use for Hushmail customers with Premium and IMAP subscriptions. This software is compatibile with Outlook 2000, Outlook XP, Outlook 2003, and Outlook 2007.
