Hushmail for iPhone supports two-step verification

An early version of Hushmail for iPhone is now available for Hushmail customers, and we continue to add new features. One feature we’ve recently included is two-step verification, providing additional security when you use Hushmail for iPhone.
How does it work?
Two-step verification requires you to confirm your identity in two different ways, making it difficult for unauthorized users to access your account. With two-step verification enabled, if you are signing in from a device we don’t recognize, you are first asked to enter your passphrase, then you’re required to enter a verification code that we’ll send by text message to your mobile phone or an alternate email address. You can also obtain a verification code using a smartphone app.
Adding this feature means that if you have two-step verification enabled on your Hushmail webmail account, you are now able to download and try out the app.

The feature is just another way we’re continuing to improve Hushmail for iPhone as we prepare for the full launch later this month. In the meantime, if you want to give the early version of the app a try, click below to request access now. If you’re already using the app, you’ll want to update it to access the latest features—just open TestFlight and tap “Update.”
